CMC-Morrocroft Emergency Room Obtains Approval

Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) which operates the Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) system has received the approved certificates of need from the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation. The 30,000-sqft free-standing addition will have 14 emergency treatment rooms, two observation rooms, imaging services including CT and ultrasound, and pharmacy services at the CMC-Morrocroft medical-office complex at an estimated cost of about $28-million. Located in Charlotte, NC off Interstate-77 south, near the SouthPark mall area of Fairview Road, Sharon Road, Coltsgate Road, Colony on Fairview Drive, Cameron Valley Parkway, between the existing parking garage and 4501 Fairview Road Charlotte, NC 28210, across from the Phillips Place shopping center.
